White Pine Village   ( page in progress)

The White Pine Historical Village is only minutes away and we thought we should plug it just a little cause they are neighbors .

 The village is operated as a non-profit entity by volunteers.  It is open May to October, but only weekends in early spring and fall.

LudingtonMI172.JPG (35248 bytes)  The Buttersville beach near the Pere Marquette shrine - imagine those early French Explorers and Indian guides traversing up this shoreline in their canoes, laden with supplies.  This was the only means of transport in those early years.
