Q. Is there a cost to join?
A. No, there is no cost to join the fan club and there are no dues.
Q. Can I get an autographed picture of Soledad?
A. Yes, simply include your postal mailing address in your e-mail and indicate that you would like to receive a picture. The picture is also free.
Q. What is the address of the fan club web site?
A. The fan club web site is located at www.carrinter.net/soledad and is updated periodically. There you will find news about Soledad, some pictures, interviews, and links to other Soledad related articles and pages on the net.
Q. Does the fan club have any items for sale?
A. Yes, currently available is the fan club coffee mug with Soledad’s image on both sides. All information regarding the mug including price can be found at this address: www.cyberspike.com/mugs/solemug.html
In the very near future, T-shirts will be available as well as mousepads.
Q. What does the "Official" label mean?
A. The "Official" label indicates that Soledad has sanctioned the fan club and contributes information and other resources and materials.
Q. When was the fan club formed.
A. The fan club was formed in November of 1996, just four months after MSNBC launched.
Q. How many members are there?
A. As of 1/1/98, enrollment is at 1700.
Q. Where do members come from?
A. Members currently hail from almost every state in the U.S. as well as over 27 different countries world wide, including Israel, Egypt, Germany, Ireland, Canada, Slovakia, Poland, Holland, and Italy.
Q. What are the ages of members?
A. Members are not asked to give their age but those who have would indicate an age range from 7 to 75.
Q. Is the fan club registered with the National Association of Fan Clubs?
A. The fan club is registered with the NAFC.
Q. Does Soledad participate in online chats?
A. Yes, the most recent chat was 8/8/97. Future chats are planned for 1998. All chats are held at the MSNBC chat site.
